Poor text performance while typing thread responses
2 months ago

Brand-new, 13th generation i7 computer with a lot more RAM and a better video card. Running Windows 11 23H2. Perhaps it's that, but here is the issue I've started seeing the past few days:

When I respond to a thread post, or create a new one (like this), I'm seeing erratic response in the editor (and in the headline writer area).

I start typing, and get hesitation. As I type I sometimes see my cursor backspace over what I've just typed, and then it retypes what I just typed. On this paragraph I've seen this as I write "see," "retypes," and other words.

I never experienced this before.

Just above I returned to the first paragraph and typed a new sentence, "Running Windows 11 23H2." As I typed 23H2, the cursor backed out the 3, then retyped it, then backed out the H2 and retyped it. As I type THIS paragraph I see occasional blocks of black and white replace what I am typing.

Is this something DPR has done in its editor, or is this some weird thing with this new PC?

Sorry ... I don't recall if I've seen this while responding on my iPad. I'll monitor that too and report back.

Has anyone else seen this weird behavior when posting new threads or responding?
