I shut it down and it came back up without the whole left panel where the "local" selection is made and where you can navigate through the directories and I can't find a a way to get it back.  The only thing there is the last directory I was working in.  the next level up for that directory is my memory card with several other directories.  I'm sure this is a simple thing to fix but I cannot figure/find our how to do it.
