I think that the thread title is not accurate. The OP is actually not comparing to the Z8/9, but to the canon R8, a camera that retails for 25% less. In this light, the Zf does not appear as attractive and puts fairly significant pressure on the forthcoming Z6iii to perform well above the r8 - really more like the R6. State of the art for the price class is the criterion here.
